What Is Reiki and Energy Healing?
Reiki and energy healing are gentle practices in which universal life energy moves through the practitioner to the recipient to support relaxation, balance, and mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Reiki can do no harm. As a Reiki Master/Teacher/Practitioner, I am also a Master/Teacher/Practitioner energy healer with certificates in hundreds of energy attunements. These life energy attunements work in the same way as Reiki and are an important and vital complementary modality in your healing journey. Reiki and energy healing bring peace, harmony, and balance for the highest good of the recipient. Energy healing, which includes Reiki, complements and supports other modalities of care and offers supportive energy for a person’s individual wellness intentions. Reiki is a complementary healing modality and does not take the place of traditional medicine, medical treatment, mental health care, or veterinary care. Mikao Usui, the Japanese founder of Reiki, ensured that this energy healing is not affiliated with or based on any religious belief system.
What can I expect when I book an energy healing session?
Reiki and energy healing are non-invasive practices and the recipient is fully-clothed throughout treatment. Sessions usually lasts about 30-50 minutes. Both human and animal energy healing can be done remotely by distance, zoom or in person.
Is energy healing safe for animals?
Animal reiki and energy healing encompasses the same benefits as human reiki and energy healing. It is a wonderful addition to the life of any animal, especially one who is suffering in any way. Animal energy sessions usually last anywhere from 10-50 minutes.
Who created Reiki? Where does it come from?
Reiki is a form of Japanese energy medicine and a method of achieving relation and healing. It was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki. It is not based on any religious belief system, but Dr. Usui was a Buddhist.
What are Reiki's core foundations?
The practice of Reiki is rooted in compassion and concern for others, which are universally found in all religions and cultures.
Can I receive Energy Healing if I am also receiving other medical treatments?
Yes. Reiki does not interfere with other medical treatments. It can often compliment other treatments such as psychotherapy, medications, surgeries, physical therapy, and more.
